🇮🇹 Tranquilli il titolo non si riferisce né ai coffee shop né al red light district. Certo fanno parte dei simboli di questa città e dell’apertura mentale che la nobilitano, ma quello che ci ha conquistati sono i meravigliosi spazi condivisi che puoi trovare ovunque. Dai negozi di abbigliamento, ai barber shop, alle palestre troverai quasi sempre un angolino dedicato ad un tavolo dove fermarti. Spazi liberi dove appoggiarsi per rilassarsi, conoscersi, mettere in pratica i propri progetti sentendosi un po’ come a casa propria. Questa apertura alla comunicazione e alla cura dei rapporti umani in una società ormai dipendente dalla tecnologia è davvero notevole e apprezzabile.

🇬🇧 Home sweet home. To enjoy the journey in total freedom and independence we opted for a little apartment booked on our faithful Booking.com, and it proved an excellent compromise. 🇮🇹 Sweet symphony. La dolce colazione ad Amsterdam è il modo migliore per cominciare la giornata e fare il pieno di energie per le pedalate giornaliere.
Dove fermarsi ad assaggiare le varie prelibatezze? Le Boulangerie sono fornitissime di qualsiasi golosità, si mangia solo col profumo appena entrati! Inoltre offrono caffè e succhi di frutta take away. Per gli amanti del salato, date un morso ai croissant con formaggio e prosciutto! Non li troverete mai così a casa! L’altra sosta da provare è i
l risveglio con i pancake olandesi. Ottimi quelli di Toos & Roos. Una valida alternativa al “Pancakes Amsterdam” subito a fianco, dove per sedervi dovete fare file chilometriche fuori dal locale.

Good ones at Toos & Roos, a good alternative to “Pancakes Amsterdam ” just next, where you have to do a very long line outside.

🇮🇹 Insalata fai da te. Dopo gli stravizi della colazione meglio optare per un pranzetto veloce e leggero ma comunque gustosissimo. Dove? Ottima location è Venkel, dove puoi creare a tuo piacimento insalate variegate con prodotti esclusivamente provenienti da produttori locali.

🇬🇧 Salad D.I.Y. After the super breakfast it’s better to opt for a fast and light lunch very tasty too. Where? Excellent location is Venkel, where you can create varied salads with products exclusively from local producers.

🇮🇹 Bicivagando. La bici è il modo più libero, comodo e veloce per esplorare la città. Direzione? Senza dubbio il meraviglioso quartiere Jordaan e le 9 stradine dove potrai trovare davvero di tutto dal vintage, al design passando per oggetti etnici e gioielli, attraversando i canali e il verde Vondel Park.

🇬🇧 Bikeriding. Bike is the best way to explore the city it total freedom. Direction? No doubt, the nice Jordaan district and the closer 9 streets, where you will find really everything! Vintage items, design objects, ethnic shops, jewels and more. From the Museum district you can arrive there passing through the green Vondelpark and canals.

🇮🇹 Sosta merenda al manneken pis. Non stiamo parlando della famosa statua di Bruxelles ma dell’omonima catena dove assaggiare le patatine fritte più buone di tutta l’Olanda. Non ci crederete ma sono anche abbastanza leggere!

🇮🇹 Aperitivo da Kevin Bacon. No purtroppo non stiamo parlando dell’attore in persona ma del bar che porta il suo nome ed è collocato all’interno del singolare Hotel not Hotel. Come rivela il nome stesso questo non è un normale hotel e nemmeno un normale ostello. Le camere sono state collocate in strutture bizzarre: una mini casa, una carrozza di un tram e persino all’interno di una libreria antica. Al piano terra c’è il Kevin Bacon bar che ha scelto questo nome perché vuole ricollegarsi alla nota intraprendenza e tenacia dell’attore non solo sul set ma anche in ambito imprenditoriale.

🇬🇧 Happy hour by Kevin Bacon. No, unfortunately, we are not talking about the actor in person but the bar that bears his name and is located within the unique Hotel not Hotel. As you can understand from the name, this is not a normal hotel and even a normal hostel. The rooms have been placed in bizarre structures: a mini house, a carriage of a tram and in an old library. Downstairs there is the Kevin Bacon bar, the owner chose this name because he wants to reconnect to the known resourcefulness and tenacity of the actor not only on set but also in enterprises business.
